KC Originals still life original was created via a vine charcoal wash.  This piece celebrates some of Kansas City's homegrown pros.  The Kansas City Star newspaper based in Kansas City, Missouri, in the United States. Published since 1880, the paper is the recipient of eight Pulitzer Prizes. The Star is most notable for its influence on the career of President Harry Truman and as the newspaper where a young Ernest Hemingway honed his writing style.

In 1910. Laugh-O-Gram Studio was a short-lived film studio located on the second floor of the McConaughey Building at 1127 East 31st in Kansas City, Missouri.  Cerner Corporation is  an American supplier of health information technology (HIT) solutions, services, devices and hardware. As of April 2015 its products were in use in approximately 18,000 facilities around the world.  Danny O'Neill founded The Roasterie Coffee Company in his basement in one of Kansas City's great neighborhoods, Brookside, it just made sense that he would partner directly with farmers and pay above-market values to get the best of the best coffee beans.
